User Management

Users within Licensight can have three different roles which allow different level of access to Licensight functionality. The following roles are available:

• Administrator: Users with this role can access the user management section within Licensight and are allowed to change roles of users or create new users.
• Policy Administrator: Users with the role policy administrator can create and change open-source licenses and policies within Licensight.
• User: All other users can read policies and licenses but are not able to change them.

All users in Licensight will have access to the applications which they created on their own or which they were granted access to (refer to Application Permissions for more information).
