Integrate external data source with Licensight¶
Licensight allows seamless integration with external data sources to enhance application observability, security, and runtime analysis. By connecting third-party tools such as Trivy Operator, users can view external reports and data directly on Licensight's interface
Integration Workflow¶
Currently, only administrators can create and manage data sources. Data source can be assigned to users, who can then use it for their applications.
Prerequisites¶
- Administrator role
Create a data source¶
Go to Administration → Data source and click the Add button
A popup will appear. Fill in the data source information, select the type, and choose which users can use it.
After creating the data source, Licensight displays connection information. Use that information to configure the external tool. To authorize the connection, use your personal access token.
