Creating a new application

If you want to create a new application you need can follow one of the following steps:

• Use the "Add" button in the application list and enter the name of your application. You can then upload an SBOM manually or use one of the options below.
• Use Licensight Scan to scan a project. A corresponding application will be automatically created.
• Integrate Licensight Scan into your build pipeline. A corresponding application will be automatically created.

Supported SBOM formats

The following SBOM formats can be uploaded into Licensight:

• CycloneDX v1.2 - v1.6 in both XML and JSON
• SPDX v2.2 and v2.3 in both XML and JSON
